okay, well......

1A.......an atom say carbon can be an ion, having more or less electrons, but still is carbon, it can have more neutrons and be a isotope of carbon and it doesn't matter what its bonded to it will still be carbon, if we change the protons by one, it will change it to either boron or nitrogen

2D....... He has a full outer shell of electrons meaning it has a valency of 0, so it wont react with anything, thus inert

3D.......  Sulfur isn't a metal, manly cuz it make a electron cloud when in bonds to other sulfur atoms. This cloud acconts for most of the properties of metals

4C.........Sodium and potassium, K, both have a valency of +1, they are both very very reactive will go boom if they are in water. they have the same properties as each other, cuz of this common valency
