Help with sd cards?

i have a dxg 506v camcorder on the site it says it can use up to 2GB sd card but on my package it says up to 1GB.

Why would it matter hoe big a sd card is?

  1. You can use a 2gb card,,,,,you can not use a card over 2gb

    Read the manual and look for the card vendor that they tell you too use,,,,kingston,,,scandisk,,,pny,,,,,,ec...


  2. The bigger the size, the more memory. You will be able to record more footage.

  3. At the time the camera was made, the designers and engineers were not able to test the camera with the larger card and had no way to prove that the larger card would work - so that is what ended up on the box. Since then, they have tested and the information has been updated. More memory = more storage capacity - be happy it will work because it has been tested.
