Help with self esteem issues...! (girls help!)?

Okay I have been kind of down in the dumps lately..

I know almost every girl goes through this but,

I don't wear makeup.. and just everyone in my school or any girl I glance at seems to look prettier than me.

I also wear glasses! which (its not easy to look good with glasses)

My nose is growing bigger by the day!

and my face is round..(not a great combination)

I have been trying to exercise to lose my round face because I have big cheeks and I have been hoping that my nose would get smaller.

I just feel that everyone else in the world is prettier!!

sort of just pushes my esteem down...

  1. Who Cares. Forget everyone else. Live your life the way you want to live it. Have fun you are only young once so enjoy it.

Sweetheart everybody does go through this like you said.  If you feel like every girl you look at is prettier than you, well why don't you do something to boost your confidence a little bit?  Going to the gym and working out is a great start.  Not only does your body feel better but after 3 weeks you will look better and healthier.  As for your big nose, I am sure you're exaggerating and you're probably beautiful.  Why don't you get contacts as a start and wear mascara everyday.  That may make a huge difference in how you feel especially with going to the gym.  They aren't big sacrifices but they may make you feel better.  There are also some adorable glasses out there.  Maybe it's time for an upgrade to a more modern pair?  I remember going through this and it lead to a lot of torturous years of self hatred.  Now I am so thankful for the things I don't have wrong with me I don't have time to focus on the things I wish I had...

  4. Try positive affirmations. Tell yourself each day that you are beautiful or pretty. This will help you. Also, try casting down those negative thoughts. Your self-esteem is low because you allowed negative, hurtful thoughts to come between the way you see your self positively.

  5. you need a hobby that will make you feel like you have accomplished something.

    try kick boxing, or volunteering at a local nursing home.
