Help with sending pictures from my mobile to my e-mail?

I'm with T-Mobile, I have a Samson Z400 ive got some decent pictures on there that I want to send to my e-mail so I can put on face-book etc why wont it work. I'm asking here first then i'll go to the mobile store.

umm not sure your doing it right right? just make a contact with no number or anything just an email and send it make sure everything is right and if that doesnt work just try t mobile online support
