I would like to know how to sew lace, fringe, or somethign like a border on a pillow. A small pillow. If someone could give me a step-by-step process or something similar to that.

Thanks.

  1. I don't know about the rest, but as far as the pillow goes I'm thinking it would be the same thing I had to do when I was making a quilt. One of the items was a heart with many fabrics & it had to be put together, and then sewn onto the quilt square. Basically it had 2 sides, like a pillow.

You have to turn it inside out, sew all around, and leave just a teany tiny little hole (as big as a finger) to turn it out again. Then you finish it off from there, it's actually doable.

  2. Do you want the lace extending from the edge of the flange, or do you want to apply it as a border onto the face of the pillow?

I don't spot an online tutorial, but if you'll explain what you want to do, I can walk you through basic lace mitering for applique onto a pillow.
