Help with sleep problems

i need help going to sleep at night cause i am scared and i always feel like something bad is going to happen to me in my sleep. i really need help to get over this and no dumb answers please

  1. maybe you should go for a long bath befor you go to bed so you feel relaxed. or just hug a teddy and just sing a happy song that will help you get to sleep and hope fully won't make you have bad dreams.

    every one has bad dreams but you will never get hurt in them mayb by feelings but nothing else.


  2. I would try talking to friends about it, see if it helps doing that any, or mabye going to see a doctor and possibly getting put on medication, you could have anxiety related insomnia if your scared to go to sleep

    But i still suggest seeing a doctor, trust me, had that same problem when I was younger, and the lack of sleep is really bad for you

    Try exercises a bit

    Try to think about something that you like.

  5. Just fight with your fears before sleeping. Be brave.

  6. take up jogging and exhaust yourself. It will give your mind something else to dwell on, too.

  7. heck u might be sicick, mabye something bad will happen.work out really hard, that way u will be very tired and fall into a fitfull sleep probably.

    Try a breathing exercise

    Try praying

    Try meditating

    Write out how you feel on paper and let it go

    I think you should go see you Dr you might have some anxiety which is keeping you up. He/she could recommend different treatments depending on the case.

    Trust me, the Dr will help!

  10. Sleep with a light on, if it gets annoying then maybe invest in buying a smaller light or one that changes light intensity. Distract yourself by reading so that you are to tired to think of these fears, also try deep breatheing and postive thinking. Remind yourself that nothing bad is going to happen in your sleep for example: i will wake up in the morning feeling fine, and i will have a peacefull sleep. Im not going to die. Repeat it and you will surely feel more relaxed. This takes time however

  11. poor thing... some say before you sleep you need to wash your foot to avoid bad dreams&bad stuffs. you have to overcome all your weekness.you have to be brave and think positive to avoid such things to effect you psychologically. dont keep on thinking that something bad is gonna happen to you in your sleep. try staying calm & think positive before you go to bed.
