  1. i used hockey boards as a box. a friend had it for me, and i dont know what else to call it, but its perfect. not many edges caught, and i just waxed it up a bit and its perfect. i jib it pretty much everyday i love it

  2. I think the most widely used surface is Lexan but i dont think its that cheap, but to be honest the best stuff usually isent. Good luck with the riding.

  3. I honestly used the underside of laminate flooring. Sounds kinda weird but it actually worked, and it was free considering my Grandparents had some left over from doing their house. So, ask around and see because everyone always buys too much! Although it is VERY important to reinforce it every few inches(my first one cracked, though surprisingly it still worked) and to countersink the screws. It's kinda ghetto looking and mine was sketchy cuz we couldnt get it to stay in the ground. But anyways if you're not looking to spend alot its the way to go, cuz the other stuff cost about as much as a decent pair of goggles!

    Good luck!

  4. use any box and buy some d**n wax

  5. I have a rail in my backyard and the top (ride-able part) is made of composite decking. You could get it at Home Depot, Menards, etc. It works well. I don't remember the cost, as we bought all the lumber for it at the same time, but it wasn't too bad. Check out pics:

    Good luck!
