compare and contrast the social and economic structures of foraging societies(hunters and gatherers) of the Paleolithic age with that of agricultural or urbanized soceities. Explain the advantadges/disadvantages.

Please help.... I dont know what the foraging societies are and am I comparing to agricultural life in the Paleolithic age or in this day...?

    Looks like you'te comparing to agricultural or urbanized societies of any age, so don't get stuck in whether there's technology.

    Surely you have a textbook for this? Anyway, to get you started, foraging societies had to move about, to follow the food. Their basic social structure was a small band or tribe. Agricultural societies stayed in one place, to grow the food. They live in larger groups.


  2. Foraging societies are the hunters and gatherers. So, the people that ate nuts and berries.

    I'm sure that your teacher wants you to compare and contrast it to the beginning of agriculture; which, i believe, marked the end of the Paleolithic era.
