Help with speech on Mac? My computer keeps talking to me.

Please, please, PLEASE help me. My computer will not stop talking to me. It was perfectly fine until I logged in on my account on my Mac this morning. Everything I click my computer says to me. I have no idea how to stop it. Does anyone know how to turn this off? I'm about to lose my mind.

if you hold down the apple key while pressing "F5" you can get rid of some of the problems. Mind you, I think this only works on the ones made before the newest model. If not, you can get rid of some problems in system preferences.

go to system preferences, click on speech, click on text to speech, and the uncheck all of the boxes
