Help with stance???

ok so im a freshman and i box at my highschool and i have had 2 fights and they telling me im doign really good its just my stance is wierd cus in stead of my left in fron and my right behind it shoulder length apart,,,,,, when i get in liek an excahnge with sumbody i like square off does anyone no how i can work at that at pratcie??? thanks

  1. I would suggest pivoting when you throw your punches so that you can get the maximum power out of them, and so that you won't square up as much.  It's going to be hard because old habits die hard, but if you work at it, you'll eventually stop doing it.  Its better for you not to square up because you are susceptible to more punches that way.


  2. yeah go to a boxing gym and train there for amateur boxing. stop getting into fights unless it is in the ring.
