  1. I have tried both!

Og sheep: rips way tooooo fast!

Prine synthetic gut w/duraflex: is a very good string, my brother uses it in a one piece stringing. btw he wins designateds.

I use: Babolat Hurricane Tour on mains and Enduro pro on cross. To be easier on the arm use Babolat Conquest on  the Crosses.

I am giving you knowledge that I have perfected over many years.

  2. I restring my own raquets and my dads kids that he coaches. The only reason why i dont have two strings on mine at the moment is because im too frigon lazy to put them in. I dont know a whole lot about the main stream string brands cause i use Poly Fiber strings which is a internationally known string but probably only to a minority (coaches, good players etc). Because i restring my own raquets i usually put in a real thin soft true gut, which retails $50 a pop, but only lasts for two sets (of mine). I put this really waxy soft string for my brothers at a medium tension, which gives them real good top spin. At the moment in mine i have a really stiff hard string at a low tension. What im getting at, if you have the money, hybrids are not as good as pure strings. People only put them in to emulate a soft feel and a good longativity at the same time.
