Hi~ So I finally got my swimming suit and yay. xD

But now I've been swimming this whole week, and yesterday, my back started itching. :[

Now I have little red bumps all over my stomach and I think on my back [I can't see o _ o]. I think it's a sunburn, because it's mostly concentrated near the lower of my stomach, but completely stops where my pants start. o _ o Sometimes it itches and sometimes it doesn't, but when it does, it's like h**l broke loose or something. DX

They're just red bumps, no blisters or stuff gushing out. o _ o

I think next time I go swimming, I'll wear a t-shirt over my bikini top like I wear board shorts over my bikini bottom roflmao. xDD

But what can I do right now to stop the itching and hopefully help heal faster? :[

  1. You've had some really good answers, but let me throw in my towel so to speak. Is the rash red before you itch it?or just the red isolated bumps- just a guess but probably not sun burn or you woulda felt well, burned at some point. Most likely a contact dermatitis from a "wrap" over bathing suit? towel? t-shirt?something new-or not yours or new detergent?good luck. itch creams, no scratching, see an MD if it gets`worse- or lasts more than a week.

  2. Mylanta. Store brand works fine. We use Dollar General brand. It works fantastically. A doctor told my friend this remedy when her daughter got blistered. I used it on my son and it helped immediately.

  3. well its probably a heat rash or a allergic reaction to what ever sunscreen you used...

try some antibiotic cream that stops the itch..... like ban-itch that stuff works

  4. sounds more like a rash from something in the sand or water.........

try cordaid for parts of the rash and see if it helps........

  5. If they are watery filled bumps-thats sunburn. To relieve pain pour vinegar over affected areas. Soak in baths, or gentle shower 2-4 X's

daily. Also-use pure aloe vera gel to help heal. If the bumps are not as I described, you may want to check with your Dr. Good luck!
