  1. yeah i'm the same way. why r u treading w/ a brick?? it's hard enough for me to hold myself up!

    forwards: hold nose

backwards: i can't do it either. help me!

  2. When your treading water, do breaststroke kick and move my arms by my side in a circular motion...

    As for flipturns,

    wear a pair of goggles.

first try started floating on ur front, then try do drive ur head forward and push ur hands back moderatly fast. while doing that, breath out from ur nose, or take a breath then hold it with sort of a pressure in ur throat.

Its easy to start off a wall... push off as hard as u can, make sure ur on the surface, then drive ur upper body backwards, folloing ur head. Make sure u have  A LOT of upper body power when u drive it backwards, or else ur going to have trouble flipping.

  3. while threading water try either breastroke legs or frontcrawl legs and kick as fast as youu can while upright in the water. as for somersaults, holding your nose is a bad habit to start, instead try blowing out through your nose in a trickle while rotating.backwards somesaults are all about your hand and wrist action. ensure you are curled up tightly in a ball with knees to chest and chim tucked in and use your wrist to rotate your hands quickly in a circle, the same action as if you were drawing a circle in the air without moving your arms but with your hands by your side.
