Help with the Sims 2 PC?

Okay, both the mother and father's aspiration is Family. But Have A Baby is both a want and a fear on both parents. What should I do? I was really wanting them to have a baby.Thanks so much! :-)

usually the fears and wants will change after they wake up from refilling their energy. notice that every time your sims wake up, a random want and fear shows up on the bottom. if i were you i would lock the want to have a baby for one of them, get the female pregnant, then wait a few days. the fear should change by the time it takes to give birth. do your sims have enough money for a baby? that might be why they fear it.

Make the mother stay at home and make them interact more. Also build a childs room in expectancy.

You can have one and then try to build up their other aspirations to level it out so they don't go crazy.
