Help with the Sims 2 game..?

How come on the Sims 2 "double deluxe" game it says it includes "sims 2" "nightlife" and "celebration stuff"... but it only has ONE disc? Just the sims 2 alone has four discs, so i don't get how that works.

I'm guessing here but isn't it a DVD? And the original Sims 2 that has 4 discs is on CD-ROM? Like DVDs can contain about a trillion times more data than CDs.

Sims2 Double Deluxe comes on a DVD, which holds many times more information than a CD.

If you are going to purchase Double Deluxe, be aware that unless your computer has a DVD drive, and not just a CD drive, you will not be able to install or play the game.

Because Nightlife and Celebration stuff are only expansions. You see the Sims 2 requires 4 disks because it has all the game files. but with expansions it only needs one disk because it only installs new objects or abilities too the game.

I'm not sure, but my friend or had almost all the Sims games.

So he might know.
