Help with the Wii Remote?

So i have some trouble with one of my wii motes. It works perfectly fine when i use it to point at the wii menu screen and things like that. Except when i play wii tennis, on wii sports, and i swing to hit the ball, nothing happens. It works fine to point and click but doesn't work when it needs to be swung or tilted like in Mario kart. Any tips on how to fix it or should i take it in to get it repaired?

Ok try removing the batteries and replacing with new ones.

Next unregister the wii mote the re-registering the wii mote

That's a stuck or broken accelerometer. Nintendo's home solution if it is stuck is to turn it upside down and smack it on your palm a few times. If that doesn't work, sending it to Nintendo or buying a new one are your only options.

Exchange the batteries for new ones.

Adjust the sensor bar in different positions.

Darken the room so the sensor bar picks up the signal better.

If these don't work then send it into Nintendo and they should fix it for you or send you a completely new one.
