Help with the name of a movie? HELP PLEASE!!!!?

I saw it a long time ago on comedy central. It's a british movie, about when the currency changed. These guys were trying to steal money by stealing the old currency and exchange it for new, but they had to do it before a certain date or all the money would be worthless. I think that was their plan. They hid all the money in some clueless old lady's insulation in her attic. But in the end, something goes wrong and they don't get the money, but he gets the girl that he liked. For some reason the title "Gold Fish" always pops into my mind. I think the title had fish in it, but i might be wrong so don't let that stop you from answering. Please help. :(

It sounds like Shooting fish. Has Kate Beckansale in it. The two male characters grow up together in an orphanage. Kate's character buys a dud horse with the money but that get the money back by fixing the race and selling the horse for more than they bought it.

only fish movie in my mind ....is ...A FISH CALLED WANDA ...but that involved a diamond heist and was a british comedy

but last poster was kinda also right ...millions may not be right but the creator danny boyle made shallow grave [millions is the more friendly to all ages version] which sounds like the film you want ......not a heist though their roomate dies and they find him and the money ?

last option could be ....the ladykillers [two versions of this] most recently made with tom hanks ....
