i need help with these 2 problems that i just cannot seem to be able to solve here it goes:

1.) 1/3 (s - 2) = s + 4

2.) 0.2 (x - 5) = x + 5

i need to know step by step on how these problems are solve thanks!

    -Distribute 1/3 into (s-2)

    1/3s - 2/3 = s + 4

    -Subtract 1/3s from S and 4 from -2/3

    -14/3 = 2/3s

    -Multiply by 3/2 on both sides &

    S = -7

    2)

    -Distribute 0.2 into (x-5)

    0.2x - 1 = x + 5

    -Subtract 0.2x from X and 5 from -1

    -6 = 0.8x

    -Divide by 0.8x on both sides

    X = -7.5
