I have very fine, thin hair, and it seems to be getting thinner. Is there anything I can do to make it grow in thicker? Real solutions please, not old wives tales. Thanks!

  1. Eat lots of protein foods..proteins build up stuff like hair, nails etc. Try eating more fish, eggs etc.

  2. You can try kelp supplements, that's what my hairdresser recommended to me, kelp is well known for being extremely effective for thickening and strengthening hair - however, they're not suitable if you have any kind of thyroid problems, so check with your GP first ^_^

  3. You'll get better answer's in the "Beauty and Style" section.

  4. not dye your hair and when you brush it use a brush not a comb

a comb tends to take off more hair

  5. i was watching extreme makeover yesterday [ha :] and apparently you can go to a hair salon and have some sort of netting put over your hair, which they then pull each hair through and do something to it. idk what its called but it worked [:

  6. wash your hair every other day ,you lose about 80 hairs everytime you wash. if you could go longer that would be even better but it really depends on your hair type. ask your doctor if he knows of anything that will really help

  7. generally speaking thin hair is inherited..as is thick hair..th only plausible thing i could think to do is make sure you are getting sufficent vitamins etc to aid ur hairs growth..supplements mayb..also massage ur scalp whilst shampooing hair to stimulate th folicles. gd luck
