It's complicated, but right now I'm 15 and not in school anymore (I will be again next august) but I have to do entire Algebra 1 and Social Studies courses to make up for it. However, there seems like so much to do, I can never sit down and study! And I feel so much anxiety when I think about things I have to do... Should I study in the morning, or after I get everything done?

My 80 yr old grandmother likes taking me everywhere on errands and things which takes up a lot of time, and I try to update facebook often to stay in touch with my old friends that I moved away from....besides that I have to walk the dog for about 30min a day and wash dishes almost every day.

Can someone plz help me work out my schedule so I have enough "me time" and still be able to get everything done? =( I'm a big procrastinator too... HELP!!!

  1. well first you need to see how much work you need to do in hours and work out how many days you have. aim to stick by it but give yourself some days off. i find learning things easier in small doses say for 20 minutes at a time. this would work weel as you do many other things during the day. find a suitible time to study, if your a morning person do it then or a person who works late into the night (like me) if anything goes wrong don't stress just keep going however hard things are. if you find something hard leave it, go and do something else and come back - sometimes your head just works it out for you in the end.

    Good Luck

It will work out right in the end

  2. Watch this video, you'll get something out of it I'm sure.

  3. I used Chalk Dust Video Math with my son and we got up every morning around 5 am to do it so we wouldn't have any distractions. It only took us about 12 weeks to do the whole course because we wanted it done and get on to something else. Plan a little reward of something you like to do, like 30 minutes on Facebook for doing your day's quota of math.  Then plan another fun thing to do AFTER you do your Social Studies. If you have to study flashcards, take them with on the walk, or when you are running errands and remind yourself of your facts.

  4. For me being very organized helps. Make a schedule and stick to it. You need to be motivated to do chores. Ask for money for doing errands that are not for yourself.
