Help with torrent, codec, and my mp3 player!?

i downloaded a few torrents, and i downloaded vlc for the codecs....i need to know how to put it on my mp3 player, because it isnt compatible...it says something about no downloading the codec, although i already played it in vlc

Did you download music files? or video files? What mp3 player are you using?

Check what file extension types are supported on your mp3 player by going to the manufacturer's website. If the file type is not supported, then you will need to download a converter to change the file back into a supported file e.g. mp3.

VLC is a media player i.e. it is for playing files on your computer. It doesn't change the files in any way so that they can be played on your mp3 player. Typically, you cannot change the file types supported by your mp3 player. You have to alter the file instead.
