Help with training for football for running back?

im 14 years old and going to be a freshman in highschool and im a big football player but the thing is im a running back but im not good at running long distances how or what can i do to be able to run longer distances and also is there anything else i can do to help run quicker also i have a gym member ship thanks

  1. run daily 2-4 miles

    stretch

    yoga

    protein

    eat right

    core exercises (runnersworld.com has some great ones)

    7-8 sprints

    swim

    bike

    walk


  2. Jump rope - Helps agility

    Run stairs - Builds stamina and agility

    Sprint - Most times when you get out of the backfield you are sprinting, not running.
