  1. Ask for a Single to Haslemere (and if there is any alternative route ensure your ticket says ROUTE Wokng.

Make sure you leave around 10 - 15 minutes for you're connection and when you get off the train at Woking look on the departures screen which will tell you what platform your train to Haslemere goes from, if you get stuck ask a member of the railway staff.

  2. www.nationalrail.co.uk

one way will be around £6.70 before any discounts

if you buy it at the woking train station, you will get one ticket for the whole journey i believe

then just ask anyone with a uniform, they will know which platform

  3. There are no special tickets for this journey, when you get to the station ask for a single or return (if you want to come back) to Haslemere. Ask the clerk also for a print out of the journey, it will take a few moments but you will get an A4 piece of paper showing connections and times as a reminder, if you know what time your coming back tell them at the time and they will do your return as well.

As for Platform information, when the Conductor comes through the train checking tickets (unless its classed as an inner London service, in which case you will have to speak to them) ask if they know which platform the train normally goes from, otherwise when you get off, you will see the Dispatch staff on the platform, WAIT until they have completed their safety jobs, which means seeing the train out of the station, then ask them.  Rail staff are there to help you with these sort of enquiries, we do not bite, honest.

    Good Luck.
