Help with transferring music from one iPod to another?

I have a 2GB white nano, and I just got a 4GB silver one, and I want to transfer the music from the white one to my silver one.

The thing is, my iTunes library isn't udpated because I deleted a lot of songs from the library. I used another site apart from Limewire for a while and I deleted each song I updated after loading into my library (yes, ridiculous I know). So I deleted the songs I got from that site because I couldn't rename them.

Therefore my iTunes library doesn't have as much music as my 2GB nano. How can transfer music from that iPod to the 4GB one?

  1. You can use software that will copy all of the songs from your ipod to your computer. then put them in your library to go onto your new ipod, but i don't there are any freeware programs that do this. If it were really important to you you could go through your 2GB and download all the songs again, but that would suck.
