Question:

Help with trip to DisneyWorld??

I'm looking to plan a trip for 4 adults to Disney World in October. We live in So. Florida, so won't need airfare.

I'm looking for a 3-day pass - however, I want to be able to include the front-of-the-line pass (not sure if that's what it's called - but the pass that lets you bypass the lines.)

Where can I go to get the cheapest tickets that will let me get the front of line, also?

Thanks!!

  1. I would be happy to help you plan your trip and bypass the lines.  Custom Mouse Plans saves the average family 3-6 hours each day of waiting in lines.  We create your itinerary and touring plans so that you avoid the lines.  We also give you tips to get the most out of the Fastpass system.  Most of our clients don't wait more than 10-15 minutes for any of the rides.  We also offer advice on tickets and packages.

  2. I am going to guess that the people who gave Custom Mouse Plans a low rating have never actually used the service.  My family has used them on three different trips and we couldn't be happier.  I never thought a trip to Disney World could be so easy and fun.  We never waited more than 15 minutes for any ride and that even includes New Year's Day in the Magic Kingdom!  I will never go to Walt Disney World without a Custom Mouse Plan again!

  3. front of the line pass is only for universal studios. At Disney they have a fass pass at certain attractions. You are a fla resident so let them know that. I think they have a 3day stay and play ticket real cheap. That is what my mother in law always gets. Also if you  are going in october check out the not so scary halloween party

  4. yeah its called fastpass and you just put your park ticket into the machine and it prints out a slip telling you when to come back and then it gives you your park ticket back.

you can only have one to a time. meaning your time to go on the ride has to come up before you can go to another ride and get another fastpass for it.

as far as cheap tickets you won't find any deals anywhere. disney world doesn't have discounted tickets and doesn't let any agency give discounts on tickets. you are better off just getting them directly from disney world either on their website or by phone or at the parks.

    online:http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/ind...

    by phone:1-407-wdisney

or just go to one of the parks.

by the way i know you said you wouldn't need airfare but are you planning to stay on disney property.

if so you should get a package with disney world. you can customize everything from

    hotel

    ticket options

    meal plan

    right on their website.

you can just put in all your info to get a price there is no obligation to book the package after you price it.

just put in you info at the left side of the page.

  5. At WDW the cheapest hotels are the All-Star Resorts and the Pop Century resort.

The ticket that you are referring to is the FastPass tickets.  You stick your park admission tickets into the machine and receive a little ticket that tells you what time to go back to the ride with little to no waiting.

The cheapest tickets will depend on what you are looking for.  The prices decrease by the number of days you are planning to spend in the parks.  There are different options for tickets the Base Ticket  being the cheapest.  The next step up is the Park Hopper. I definitely recommend you consider adding on the Park Hopper option.  The PH will allow you to bounce from park to park in the same day.  The next step is the Water Parks and more.  Please note that you can add the Water Parks option without the Park Hopper option.  The Water Park option is pretty self explanatory :)  It admits you to the Water Parks.  The last option is the No Expiration option.  Unless you purchase this your tickets will expire after 10 or 14 days from the first use.  Look on-line for which will best suit your needs.

Tickets and Hotel prices www.disney.go.com  then the travel link

I live in TX, but you should check around for Florida rates.  FL residents get some kind of a discount... I think.

  6. I think you're thinking about Universal Studios.  Disney does not offer a ticket that let's you bypass the line.  They have FastPass for specific rides.  FastPass is a ticket that gives you a specific time to come back to the ride.  You get in the FastPass line (instead of the regular line) and you'll have a much shorter wait.

At Universal Studios, they allow guests, who are staying in one of their three resorts, to bypass the lines.  This is only available to Resort guests, and you must show your room key to do this.

  7. One more thought--now that the fastpasses are straightened out :)arrive at the parks before they open, and for the first hour or two you won't even need to worry about fastpasses!

You can find links to example WDW itineraries for October on this page--they will also give you guidance on how to shape your Disney World days!!  http://yourfirstvisit.net/planning-your-...

Hope this helps and have a great trip!  Dave

  8. Disney offers fast pass, its a ticket you print and tells you at what time you can come in the ride but it does not guarantee front of the line. Since we have gone to disney world before a we will be there only 5 days this year I am going to buy a 2 day hopper at Disney and 1 day hopper at Universal so I can see exactly what I want and ship everything else.  I have used www.floridaorlandotickets.net before to buy tickets the prices are pretty normal and they arrive at our hotel.

  9. As already stated, Disney uses Fastpasses instead, which are free to all park guests.

If you will be staying at one of Disney's hotels, it's best just to book a package deal with Disney to save a few bucks.  If you will be staying off-property, there are just a couple of Disney-authorized dealers who offer slight discounts on tickets.  I would never buy from anyone who is not an authorized dealer, because you cannot be sure what you are getting.  AAA is authorized, if you are a member, and http://www.mapleleaftickets.com is also an authorized dealer.  Unfortunately those are about the best you can do for tickets.
