  1. Well i went in july and changed £100 and got roughly £206 turkish lira back .

  2. people do not go to holidays only for buying presents, litle girl.

and learn not to generalize people. Although European services all across Europe allways try to tell you folks to not be racists, you are going on and on asking questions like "are all turkish men perverts?"

  3. take english money with you and change over there at a reputable place e.g jewellers you will get a better rate!!

you will definately get your moneys worth, you can get 4 handbangs in the markets for around £20 so braclets will be easily within your budget!

i hope you enjoy your holiday!

im out in turkey on tues and cant wait, prepare yourself for the hotness!! woo!

  4. You can get your money exchanged from the exchange offices. They are all over the country but you may have to ask to find them. But don't forget to check the news first because if you are a foreigner, the Turkıish people may will try to fool you (i am saying this as a Turkish) and give you less. I think it is like this now:

    £1 = 2.23 YTL(means New Turkish Liras)

  5. You could use Turkish Lire, or you could try euros, which are the commonest currency in tourist resorts.  Smile, be polite, and take your time when shopping as there are many many traders, all keen to give you a bargain.  Bracelets are about £2-£3, so you will have no problems.

    Above all, enjoy your holiday.
