im looking into getting this seasons K2 world wide weapon but im lost with what size i should get. i like to do alot of park riding and a little all mountain. I am about 5,8 and i only weigh like 120. i was looking at the 148 cm board or 152. my board last year was only a 146 which was nice and easier to control considering i dont weigh that much. Im worried if i get the 148 that it might be small by next season but the 152 might be to big. please hellp.

  1. The 148 is going to be easier to maneuver, but will be less stable at speed. The 152 is going to be a little less responsive, but will give you better edge control at speed, and give you a more stable platform when landing bigger jumps. So it really depends on how you want to ride.

  2. A 152cm would be best for you, last year i was riding a 146 because i thought it would be better for the park, but i could never stick my landings. Then i snapped the tail of my board one day and rented a 157 burton, it was harder to control when i was trying to make tight turns but when i tried it on the park i landed a 360 first try, and i landed it like 1 out of 20 with my 146. The landings just seem to stick way better.

Im buying a 154 or 155 this year hopefully

btw im about 135lbs and 5' 9 so i might need to go a couple centimeters bigger than you

  3. ANYTHING between 148-157 is great for any park rider of and age and any height because we like to run small in snowboard sizes its easier jump, spin, and grind. id say the 152 though because 148 is on the low side
