  1. for the first one is it (y-1)/z=3 or y-(1/z)=3?

    and there is no m in the problem, so you cant isolate something that isnt there!

    for the second one

    xy^2 + z^3 = 1 move z^3 to the other side

    xy^2= 1- z^3

    square root both sides

    xy= sqrt(1-z^3) divide by y

    and you have

    x=(sqrt(1-z^3))/y

  2. TT Hi !!

    y-1/z=3 .. solve for z (isolate z)

    y-1 = 3z

    z = (y - 1)/3 ◄ Ans

    xy^2 + z^3 = 1 solve for x (isolate x)

    xy² + z³ = 1

    xy² = 1 - z³

    x = (1 - z²)/y² ◄ Ans

    hope this helps

  3. y-1/z=3, there is no m to solve for...

    xy^2+z^3=1

    xy^2=1-z^3

    x=(1-z^3)/y^2
