Help with two things?

I'm trying to find out if I am a bit over weight for my age. I'm 12 years old turning 13 in about 4 months or so and im pretty tall im about 5'4-5'5 and 110 pounds I kinda have a sporty body because of gymnastics, dance, track ect. I'm trying to run at a faster paste so now I run about 1 mile a day i.e) 7miles a week. And im trying to get more leg musle to run faster... so am I a bit over weight?...And how can I get more leg musle? and run at a faster pace for track and feild? Thanks In advance Johanna!

  1. go out for 30 minute run, go as far as you can jogging, and walk the rest if you have to. Build up to all running. Try to run 5 times a week...You'll get results if you still to it..its all up to you


  2. okay soo because you weigh more than the average girl your age does not mean you are ove weight... im an inch taller than you and weigh bout the same and by no means would i consider myself over weight..so no i think your fine... also muscle weighs more than fat so with all this running youll probably drop a couple pounds at first then start to gain weight again... which is normal because your gaining muscle and if you wish to lose muscle stop running!... hope this helps!
