Help with understanding business days?

ok so heres whats going on i ordered a phone sat-day...and they told me it would be her with in 2-five business day ...so since it was the weekened they couldnt ship it till monday i guess....i called and they said it was being shipped so how long untill my phone and i are together?lol

..details...i couldve got over night shipping but the lady i was talking to she said it wouldnt do me much good since it was a weekened..and told me that it would be here on tus-wen-day so that means it only takes like 2-3days to ship?

"Business days" usually refers to non-holiday weekdays, Monday through Friday.

So, if you order something on the weekend (or after hours on Friday night), the following Monday counts as the first "business day" as long as it's not a holiday.  If they told you 2 to 5 business days, the it could arrive anywhere from the next Tuesday to a week from Monday.

I have no idea what they were trying to tell you about you and your phone being together...do you need to sign for the delivery?  If so, then you'll need to be home to get your phone.
