Help with unreasonable mother???

Question

I just lost my hamster (she died in her sleep) and i'm pretty upset. We just got finished having her funeral and buried her in the backyard. My mom then took me to the pet store and we looked at the rabbits and hamsters but won't let me get a rabbit. I just typed her a 5 paragraph persuaive and all she shouted was "NO YOUR NOT GETTING A RABBIT AND THAT'S FINAL!" I really want another pet now (but i REALLY REALLY REALLY wanna rabbit) but all she is considering is a hamster. Hamsters only live for so long though and i just had a hamster. Personally i don't want any other hamster they would just bring back memories of daisy...i would even be comparing that hamster to her so thats not gonna help anything. Thats why i would love a rabbit and my birthday is coming up so that would be a grat gift especially since its gonna be my 13th birthday. She isn't even considering it so what should i do. Please i really need help. Thanx so much if you answer i'm so desperate and running out of ideas!!!

for right now, just get a hamster - she probaly think your not responsible enough.

Rabbits are cute, but they can be messy. Listen to you Mom. How about a puppy, or a dog already trained? Try the Humane Society and save a pet.

Give up the rabbit idea, I know they are soooo cute but I used to have one he lived to be pretty old and I absolutely loved him but they are a TON of work you constantly have to take them out and play with them their urine is loaded with ammonia so they smell sooooo bad you are constantly cleaning their cage and they can get really mean stick with the hamster
