Help with upload/download question, please?

I am trying to help someone decide which provider to choose. She does very basic emails and chats to her grandchildren with webcam and microphone. Just really basic things, no gaming. Which speed is best:

A. 512kbps down by 256kbps up

or

B. 768 Kbps down by 128 Kbps up

if your not gonna be doing anything advanced on your internet, just go with the cheapest thing to get you connected, but dont go with dialup, you'll regret that decision lol

For her use it will make no difference. I would advise the faster connection, as otherwise Windows updates and virus pattern updates will take longer.
