Help with weird love bird behavior?

i have a love bird which i have had for almost a year, and she has always been good. but now all of a sudden she goes through these "mood swings" and she will be real mean by biting and nipping at me constantly, and then a little later she turns around and is fine again? is there something i am doing wrong, or am i missing something?

any help is nice!

no ur not doing anything wrong.she might be in her breeding season she might be sick.also sometimes that happens with birds like they start feeling independent once they get older it possibly is just a phase.but if u see that it is acting weirder everyday then u should take it to the vet.

She sounds like she is trying to see what she can get away with. She also may be wanting a mate too. I would try getting her a large mirror if you do not want to get another bird.

She;s going to be in mating season. All birds tends to be more aggressive during mating season. It would die off soon.

my budgie was the same too. It is very very normal and just say a firm "no" to it when it bites.
