Help with wireless association

Question

I recently decided to enable MAC filtering options, added my MAC address as the only computer, but I now my laptop is not associating? Whats the problem, I'm using a wep encryption but I have not changed the key so I down't think that is it. P.S. I am using Ubuntu

It sounds like you made an error when you entered the MAC ID. You'll need to connect with a cable to access the router ( assuming you had MAC ID filtering on just the wireless)

Otherwise you'll need to reset the router
