Question:

Help with wood floors?

There is a lot of hairspray buildup on my wood flooring. I have used a mop, & my Swiffer. It won't come up. I know its gonna take something stronger, but I don't want to damage the flooring, it isnt real wood. Any advice will help greatly.

  1. some "murphy's oil soap" and good old-fashioned elbow grease on your hands and knees should do the trick.

  2. not knowing what type of floor it is, I assume it is a laminate. You can try Windex but if that doesn't do the trick Mineral Spirits will remove the buildup without damaging the laminate, and a protectant layer like Murphy's will cover it from happening again.
