Help with xbox 360 picture??????

Question

i have a full hdtv 1080p and i have an older xbox without the hdmi port and i want to have the best picture possible but whenever i change to the input that my xbox is on it says res 480 so i know it can go higher than that how do i do it???

Make sure the AV cable is selected to "hdtv", there is a little slider along the edge of the part that plugs into your xbox.

not sure if this helps but...

1.make sure the component cables are connected properly to your tv(i.e by color blue green etc)

2.go to the last blade of the xbox 360 dashboard and alter the definition from 480p to a high def setting like 1080p,1080i,or 720p
