Question:

Help working with family names for our first child??

My boyfriend and I are expecting our first, and probably only, child, and we'd like to incorporate some family names. We only want to use middle names, unless the first name is not the exact same as the original.

For first names we like:

Girls:

Liana

Kaylyn

Jessica

Jamie

Tara

Delilah

Boys:

Landon

Darren

Austen

Cameron

Trent

and the family names are

My Mother: Sandra Faye

My Father: Alan Raymond

His Mother: Tracie Lynn

His Father: Alan Curtis

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  1. I think Jamie Lynn is cute for a girl & Landon Curtis for a boy.

But, if you wanted to do the WHOLE family thing, you could go with:

Sandra Lynn or Tracie Faye (both cute!) &

    Raymond Curtis or Curtis Raymond

We did "family" names with our kids. Our son is named after his great-grandfather & my dad (James Timothy) & our daughter's middle name is feminine for her dad's name (Michelle for Michael)

  2. I like Liana Faye and Tara Lynn

for the boys, i like Landon Alan and Darren Alan.

  3. Girl Suggestions:

    Liana Sandra

    Kaylyn Faye

    Jessica Lynn

    Jamie Faye

    Tara Tracie

    Delilah Lynn

    Boy Suggestions:

    Landon Raymond

    Darren Curtis

    Austen Alan

    Cameron Curtis

    Trent Alan

  4. I have to say I really like.. Liana, Kaylyn (which is actually MY middle name.. only spelt Kay-Lynn), & Delilah.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE.. all of the boys names.. my fav's are.. Landon, Cameron & Trent..

For a girls middle/s name I would use.. Sandra Lynn (maybe not with Kaylyn.. too many Lynn's)

& for a boys middle name I would use.. just Alan (since both fathers are names Alan)..

Congrats on the baby.. good luck.. xo

  5. if you have a girl you can name her alina after the 2 dads alan i think that will be cute their was a lil girl at daycare with that name when i worked their

  6. call him michael phelps

  7. For a girl I like the name

    Jessica Lynn

    or Dalilah Faye

    For boys, I like

    Austen Raymond

    or Cameron Curtis

  8. Boy-Landon Curtis

    Girl-Kaylyn Faye or Jessica Lynn

  9. Kaylyn Faye

    Landon Curtis

  10. Liana Tracie

    Trent Alan

  11. I love Liana and Kaylyn (my mind read Kayliana)

Faye and Rae (for Raymond) work for both

Liana Lynn is ok too (unless u dislike the double L thing)

Austen, Landon, and Trent I like.

  12. For the girl names Faye goes good with all of them

the boys are hard because the names end with en and on and the family names are an and ond. they dont sound right as middle names

  13. Girls: Jessica Lynn , Liana Sandrine ( instead of Sandra) Boys: Austen Curtis, Trent Raymond

  14. For a girl I think Liana Kaylyn is perfect because it honors all the grandparents. I think Liana is close enough to Alan to honor the fathers and the ay and lyn honor the mothers. You could spell it Kayelynn so it is even closer to Faye and Lynn. Alaina also works to honor the fathers.

For a boy I think Landon is a good way to honor the fathers and the mothers really. Lan for the Allans, An for Sandra, Don for Lynn (the endings rhyme). Also, have you thought about using the last names as a way to honor too? You could give the baby 2 middle names too. Or, you could give the baby the initials A, T, and S plus the last name as a way to honor.

  15. Delila Julianne

    Austin Reed

  16. For girls, I like:

    Kaylyn Faye

    Jessica Lynn

    Jessica Faye

    Jamie Lynn

    For boys, I like:

    Landon Curtis

    Austen Alan

    Cameron Alan

    Trent Alan

    Trent Curtis

I would suggest doing the middle name Alan, since both of your fathers are Alan, so he can be named after both of them!

    Good luck!
