the truth is would you be so mad if the guy you liked responded by liking you back? but yes your friend betrayed you because you told him not to tell...you should still forgive him but remember to NOT ever tell him anything secret again.

I would not call it betrayal and I would move past it.

Take a lesson from this though. Dont ever trust anyone. No matter how well you know them, you are not them and cannot control them. Don't tell people when you like someone else until the feelings are a bit more solidified between yourself and the person you like.

Don't give people the opportunity to offend or betray you.

I wouldn't call this betrayal but it was a definetly a wrong thing to do.

If your friend says that he's sorry then you should forgive him and move on. I tottally understand how much this must hurt you because I've gone through plenty of guy drama too.
