Help writing wedding vows. Funny and Heavy Metal

Question

My fiancee and I are huge metal heads and we are pranksters as well. We are writing our own vows and I want to incorporate these in our vows. Help me come up with something

and i was thinking the same thing when i get married, i was going to take bites and pieces of lyricsa from your fav songs, and added a little humor and love to them!

That's hard.  The first thing I thought was taking lines from your favorite songs & my mind automatically went old school to Led Zeppelin and Stairway to Heaven type of vibe:

And as we wind on down the road

Our shadows taller than our soul.

There walks a lady we all know

Who shines white light and wants to show

How everything still turns to gold.

And if you listen very hard

The tune will come to you at last.

When all are one and one is all

To be a rock and not to roll.

But then I started wondering what type of metal?  I pretty much stopped growing in that area after the 80's so I don't know any new metal bands.  In any case you should find some lines that mean something to you & just jumble them all together.  It would be fun & your guests would probably be trying to figure out which line was from which song.

My suggestions, would be to check out your heavy metal lyrics on the net and grab a few lines here and there and pop them in to a purely traditional vow.

Something like:

Do you Bob, take Jane to be your lawful wedded wife?

On a hot summer night would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red roses?

Will you lying together in a silver lining by the light of the moon?

For the rest of your lives?

Bob: I will

Use your imagination and go for it!
