Cats are predatory animals and will attack anything that moves. It's only natural for the cat to do so. It's still a good cat but his/her instincts are strong and does what it does. Try leaving moving toys and tennis balls around the area to distract the cat from eating your future gold fish. ~good luck catchin'.
