Boric acid works very well, however the person that gave you the warning is a little extreme. Boric acid is one of the safest chemicals to use (unless you're a roach of course). You would have to eat a lot before it would make you sick. It is a salt derivative. When it gets on a roach, the crystals scratches the waxy coating of a roach. This dries up the roach and it also allows other pesticides to penetrate the waxy coating. And since roaches constantly clean themselves, they ingest the boric acid that gets on them when the walk through it.

All this being said, you really need to call a professional. this is not a job for armatures.

boric acid powder--put along all the baseboards, under the sinks and cabinets---WARNING---it will also kill your kids and pets!!!!!!!!!!!!!

do not put where kids can get into it or pets can l**k it !!!!!!!!!!
