Help!I don't know how to get GOO out!?

Ok...so I redecorated my house,new furniture and every thing! I was babysitting my niece and she spilt GOO all over... and dindn"t tell me! Now it's all dried up on my rug and I don't know how to get it out! Help! My realtor is coming in 2 days! I am selling my house!

Best thing for that would be to call a steam cleaner company to remove the spot; god knows, I've spilt my goo all over the rug and it dried up too but, the rug doctors helped out in a jiffy.
