Help!!New Sidekick 08??

Question

how can i upload ringtones for free onto my sidekick 08?

or if i buy a ringtone from my sidekick,will it be the whole song or just a part of it?

You will have to buy the ring-tones from the sidekick catalog for $2.49 each. They are not 5 seconds long that is just the preview the ring tones are satisfactory for $2.49 they usually be the full chorus, and only the chorus, they also sound very professional

I don't know the sidekick software but I do know, a ringtone is just a "sample" from 15 secs to 2 mins.

You can edit your own music to shorter versions to make them ringtones (the only reason to make them shorter is a. to use less memory in the phone since no-ones likely to leave it ringing for 3 minutes just to hear the music).

The best way I've found for ringtones is;

search the internet for free ringtones, listen to them since some have naff quality, then download them and use "rumkin.com" to upload them to your phone.

You have a free ringtone, Rumkin is free, you pay your carrier for data time to download the ringtone (or free if you have a data/internet plan).
