Help!!!W/ girl scouts?

i need help w/ my girl scout troop. they never listen and they onli come to socialize. can some one give me some fun( productive) things i can do to get their attention and them have fun and learn some thing too???

What age are they right now? That makes a big difference.

If they are in their teens, they may just be in a phase that you will have to ride out.

But what do they say they like? If it is makeup, have a consultant come in and give lessons on skin and makeup care. Then do a drive to collect toiletries for a family shelter.

If they like cooking, make a treat to donate to the local nursing home, USO, or the like.

If chatting is their game, see if there is a skill they'd like to learn, like knitting, so they can make stuff while they chat.

If they like games, tie it into health and teamwork.

Why don't you direct that question to the Girl Scouts headquarters in your area, or get your answers from other Girl Scout leaders. There is a standard that is to be followed, unless someone has been involved with Scouts your answers will be no different than trying to control a group of girls that have no interest in what you are doing with them.

Both of our granddaughters are involved with scouts and loving it. They are involved with different programs and activates all the time.
