solve -2 < -2x +1 < or equal to 7

i really have noo clue on how to do this soo any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you

since you have +1 on each side you must subtract it on both sides hence you get -3 &lt; -2x &lt;= 6

then u divide each side by -2 and since it is negative you must reverse the inequalities.

-3 &lt;= x &lt; 3/2

there you have solved for x
