After being directed by Cricket http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757, Shane Watson, the Sydney Sixers’ premier all-rounder, has expressed that helping his side qualifying for the semi-finals

The Sixers, led by the Test wicketkeeper/batsman, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/BJ-Haddin-c1170, have won all of their three matches in the tournament so far and are almost a certainty for the semi-finals now.
However, their ace player, Watson, will no longer take part in the illustrious competition as CA wants him to be fit and ready for the three-match Test series against the Proteas, which starts next month at Brisbane.
The great all-rounder was named as the Player of the Tournament in the recently-concluded http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Queensland-c834 is considered
to be one of the most valuable T20 players in the world.
Watson is happy to have helped his franchise qualify for the last four of the competition and is satisfied with his individual performance as well.
"For us (the Sixers) to be able to qualify for the semi-finals was certainly my goal," http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Watson-c96326 said. "Personally to be able to help contribute to make sure that we're in the semi-finals before I head home, it's worked out very nicely.”
The all-rounder scored 104 runs in the three innings and grabbed five wickets as well to help his team’s cause.
The 31-year-old cricketer will reach back home tomorrow and will take some time off before taking part in a couple of Sheffield Shield games in order to get himself ready for the 5-day format.
Watson wishes to have helped the Sixers win the CLT20 but he has immense faith on his teammates and is confident that Sydney can beat any team even in his absence.
"It's going to be sad to leave. I know with the quality of group that we have, we're a real chance of winning this. In the end, I know having a week off will definitely freshen me up," the all-rounder added.
