yeah yeah, we all hate school, but i need help. nobody at home wants to or can help.
first problem:
An empty vial has a mass of 53.03 g. if the vial has a mass of 248.13 g
when completely filled with liquid carbon terachloride (density = 1.59
g/cm3), what is the volume of the vial?
-----
I did the 248.13 - 53.03 and got 195.10. I then divided that by the density
and go 122.70.
that was the right answer for the first problem... then came the
trickster...
What would the mass of the vial be if it was now filled with water at 25
degrees celsius (density = 0.997 g/cm3)
-------
i put every answer BUT the right one lol. I need help with that.
