  1. use pencil eyeliner

    and always cheek on it

  2. Practice makes perfect when it come to eyeliner! Instead of using a liquid liner why not try a pencil. They look just as good and are much easier to use.

    Steps to PERFECT eyes:

1.Draw a line with a black or brown pencil along your top lash line. I heart Covergirl perfect point plus eyeliner.

2.Line your bottom inside rims with the same pencil liner.

3.Use a gold eyeshadow on your lid and a darker colored one in the crease. Highlight your brow using a white shimmer. Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips has all the colors you will need.

4.Use a volumizing mascara to finish off your look. Covergirl proffesion super thick lash mascara  is an ultimate classic mascara that looks and feels great.

To mix it up use a plum eyeliner and purple eyeshadow. That is really in right now.

  3. My guess is that you are using liquid liner, and everyone struggles with that, a pencil liner would be easier, but for now when your applying the liquid liner, wipe off the wand on a tissue.  Then you are using less product which should help.  Also just slowly draw a line at your lash line using just the very tip of the wand.

    Hope I could help.

  4. maybe its dripping because its liquid eyeliner?

so maybe if u try just the eyeliner pencil or something.

  5. i use an eyeliner pencil. i wear contact lenses and the liquid ones seem to irritate my eyes more. also, i feel that liquid eyeliners come on too strong, especially black. i've used pencil for years and have never had a problem. try it out and see if it works for you.

  6. One thing you have to make sure is that you have no mascara or eye shadow on your eye during the application.

It is easy to clean up mistakes especially with a q-tip which may actually make like more linear and defined.

You should only be applying eyeliner to 3/4 of the lid and fade the rest, or there's too much.

You may also be doing things to quick and brushing things against the newly applied area.

  7. I started using liquid liner (waterproof) and only lining the upper lid, I also switched to waterproof mascara and the 'raccoon eyes' have improved tremendously.

If you are someone that has to line the lower part of your eye, I have done that with the liquid liner as well. I do a very small line, starting from the outside corner and draw the line about half way then smudge it straight across. This lines the eye but also takes away excess and it isn't such a dark, defined line. If you do switch over remember to practice a few times before you plan to go out, it's tricky getting the hang of it!

    Good luck :)
