Helppp, i realy need hermit crabb help!?

Question

i just bought a hermit crab about a week ago and the second day i thought it had a missing leg. today i got a better look and noticed that u was missing but there was a bud there. it seemed as if it had happened about a few weeks before we bough.

he seems to be fine though, he walks around, digs holes, eats, and is now getting used to being help (somewhat lol) it doesnt seems like its bothering him at all, he seems happy

Is he going to live?

i had lots of hermet crabs before, and my biggest on e also missing a leg, well because my sister was feeding it and she pulled if off when i was replacing the water, it neer grew back, but it lived the longest out of all 7. so if its acting normal and doesnt seem to be bothering it, then i think it should be fine.
