okay, I got a C the first semester of algebra and then I got a D in second semester will I still be able to take Basic geometry? I know every school is different but what do you think will happen?

Algebra and Geometry are  differrent parts of Math. So, don't worry.

You messed out algebra which doesn't mean you will do the same for geometry. Good Luck.
